AUSTIN, Texas – North Dakota State senior distance runner Travis Fitzke and sophomore hurdler Jerome Begin both entered the NCAA Division I West Preliminary Rounds ranked 42nd out of 48 entries in their respective events. From an outsider's perspective, neither was expected to make much noise.
