Kristoffer Thomsen, a senior at North Dakota State representing Denmark, won both the invitational discus throw and invitational shot put at the 47th Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, Calif. Thomsen produced a 171-5 (52.26m) effort in the discus and achieved a mark of 61-5.50 (18.73m) in the shot put.
