Amanda Anderson, a senior at North Dakota State, won the women's invitational discus throw with a 180-2 (54.93m) effort and took third in the invitational shot put with a mark of 47-9.25 (14.56m) at the 47th Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, Calif.
